EDGEWORX STUDIOS
Recent Work: History's D-Day In HD VFX & Animation
Edgeworx Studios, LLC. is proud to have worked with their long
time client, Lone Wolf Documentary Group on History's 70th anniversary
special of D-Day in HD, creating striking VFX and Animation to help
illustrate the story of one of the most important turning points of WWII.
Rare footage is rendered in High Definition, then combined with
interviews from the men who lived through it. Allied and German
survivors tell their first-hand stories about the war that changed
the course of the world. Through these stories, the long held belief
that an Allied victory was secured after a single, bloody day will be
dispelled. In truth, it would take weeks of back and forth struggle
before the Allies could cement their foothold in enemy territory.
And the final death toll far exceeds anything seen on the beaches.
Very few of us know the real story… until now.
THORNBERG & FORESTER
Two New Directors: Michael Darmanin & Santa Maria.
Thornberg & Forester has added two new design directors to its
growing roster, Michael Darmanin and Santa Maria.
Parabolic is elated that the New York Post Production community has
continued to see such tremendous growth within our industry. With the
efforts of the Post New York Alliance and our empire state officials,
the incentives for productions to post in NY has encouraged and fostered
the development of numerous amounts of production work that is
centered in our beloved city. New York has seen an enormous growth
in Television production as well because of the enhanced tax credits
and has enabled these projects stay in NY for all of their post
production needs. Parabolic has had the opportunity to provide complete
sound services on many of these critically exclaimed shows, including
"Louie" on the FX, channel, "Broad City" on the Comedy Channel and
"Inside Man" on CNN. We have edited and mixed TV pilots many of which
have been approved by the networks for a complete episodic series.
Parabolic has also had the opportunity to work with prolific directors
of both Independent and Studio Films such as "Begin Again" (Tribeca
Film Festival) "Cold in July" (Sundance Film Festival) and Joe (SXSW).
Recently we completed a 20th century fox studio film "Let's be Cops"
for a wide summer release. Our recent commercial spots have included
an H&M piece for the web, A Cadillac spot for broadcast and a
sizzle for Nickelodeon. We are continuing to see and read more
scripts and we are bidding on various projects for the 2nd half
of 2014 and beyond.
